Historic perspective (2018 - 2022)

Once upon a time, when we part of a group of people at the Toolbox foundation located in the old zoo (Rensen Park) of Emmen, The Netherlands, Europe. 

Setting up (a local) shop

There was a business plan put in place by Earnie to setup a computer repair shop. Something he had ample of opportunity with in the past. Was never / would never do on his own again, however with help of other Windows and MAc enthousiast? Could be something ! 

CHE (Computer Help Emmen) was born

We would all start as volunteers. A group of about 7 people, with a few dozen more to assist when necessary.

Emmen has 48,631 households in 16 towns, 27 districts and 83 neighborhoods. If we fail 99% and only 1% succeed, then with CHE Plus club membership of €9.95 per month we have a guaranteed recurring income of €4860 per month. Equalling two full-time monthly salaris for the first two employees. Earnie and Dennis as the business managers.

It was something to strive for everybody.

Quite a few things happened. Will spare the specific drama for some other time.

To continue the plan with less staff the fail margin increased, thus to compensate for it, Earnie decided to grow into the county of Drenthe instead of only the Emmen area. COVID by then happened, thus he could offer remote assistance & WordPress services. Next to selling refurbished computers. At the time the 1st version of the business plan was put effect in 2019, Drenthe had 492,167 people living in it. That's how the target number came about.

Growing pains (2022-2023)

When Toolbox wenkt bankrupt in July 2023 (due to inability to pay tax arrears / COVID-19 fallout). It was just Earnie & his idea left; all alone?

Going national?

He had already closed a strategic national alliance with EsraBrekelmans.com 

An alliance which collapsed as well in the 1st week of December 2023.

Turns out I'm quite intense to work with? When the stakes are high.

Further growthhacking internationally

Therefore going global. I speak and write better English than Dutch. And when I have no one to take into account? Then 'we' can do things fully my way or the high way. And by we I mean me & my one-man bipolar army. Leverage 35+ of information technology experience with 9 FTE productivity bursts, mixed with automation and since 2023 also AI.

And now also with a FreshDesk account. Wish we had this much earlier. To handle support much more efficient.

And the rest? Is history in the making.

April 2024: Target upgrade from 1.3M to 13M

Within 8 days from eachother we 10X'd the goal and Project 10X-Mansion.com came about.

Yet we still refer to 492167. Brings back a lot of memories and 'the fighting spirit'. Going to proof everybody who didn't believe or turned their back on me? Sooo wrong. Although it does cost a lot: time, sweat, tears, capital, health, sanity, relationships etc.
